Only a little bit longer before fans of the iconic Resident Evil franchise can once again step into Leon Kennedy's shoes in the upcoming Resident Evil 2 remake. Many are looking forward to not only the game itself, but finding some of the hidden Easter eggs along the way. The hunt has already begun as one player uncovered a clever Brad Vickers gem.
The 1-shot demo is going on now, giving horror fans a small 30-minute taste of what's to come. For those looking to see if they can find the latest reference found, it's not too late! But, you're going to need how to cheat the system a bit to find hidden areas now meant for the small demo period.

The video walks players through the latest discovery. Ass seen above, the character -- Leon Kennedy -- is seen exploring areas that are meant to be off limits. In order to gain access, players will have to use a mod to get in, so for those just interested in seeing what's found, you can check out the gameplay footage at the top of the article.
As for what the YouTuber reveals, players of the original Resident Evil 2 game that came out in the 90s will remember the shuffling zombie of Brad Vickers underneath the RPD courtyard. Piano keys for all of me john legend. Though this time he's not a zombie, fans do get to see good 'ol Brad in all of his glory in the form of a shiny recruitment poster!
As to whether or not you'll get to see a zombie version of the character, you'll have to wait and find out when Resident Evil 2 goes live for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC players on January 25th!
Interested in trying out the game for yourself? There's still time to get in on that demo action. Like all previews, this playable period prior to launch will be available for a very limited amount of time. The demo event officially kicks off on January 11 and will run until January 31.
'Aptly named the 1-Shot Demo, players must take on the challenge of surviving the horrors of Raccoon City in just 30 minutes,' Capcom mentioned earlier when the demo first went live. 'If players complete the mission objective under 30 minutes, they can restart the mission until they use up their full time. If players succumb to the zombies during their 30 minutes, they can continue any number of times until the full 30 minutes have been reached.'
The end of the small demo period also houses a special trailer featuring Hunk and Tofu, which can be seen here. As far as what the demo itself actually has to offer, long-time fans and newcomers alike will get a chance to assume the role of Leon Kennedy.

Resident Evil 2 Brad Vickers Key
According to Capcom, 'In the “1-Shot demo,” players step into the boots of rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy as he arrives at Raccoon City Police Station in the ultimate worst first day on the job. Leon must survive vicious zombies and solve puzzles to find safe passage out of the station. With an entire building of flesh-eating nightmares lurking between Leon and his escape while the clock ticks down, players need to be sure they’re killing more than just time.'

Brad Vickers zombie Part II
Something I didn't notice when I submitted the first 'Brad Vickers zombie' Hint. Apr 21st 2010, ID#15731| REPORT
In order to obtain the Special Key in the B scenarios, you have to have obtained it the the previous A scenario. If you encountered Brad an obtained the key in the A scenario, head to the same place (the tunnel outside the R.P.D.'s main entrance) and Brad will be there. You do not need to worry about getting there without picking up any items (which is impossible in the B scenario, anyway), so grab the Shotgun/Grenade Launcher from the main hall and head outside. Brad will be here. However, now that you have the Shotgun/Grenade Launcher, you don't have to waste 25 Handgun Bullets killing him. Just decapitate him with the Shotgun (if you're Leon) or kill him with the Grenade Launcher (if you're Claire) and grab the Special Key (examine his body for it) Keep in mind that you MUST have at least encountered Brad in the A scenario (it doesn't matter whether or not you kill him in the A scenario, provided you encountered him) for him to appear in the B scenario, or else he won't. You'll know if Brad's down the tunnel when you're outside, because the two zombies normally outside the R.P.D. Main entrance won't be there, and you'll hear a more distant moaning until you walk down the tunnel, where he'll be waiting.
In another delightful homage to the 1998 game, Capcom has included two secret weapons from the original Resident Evil 2 in the remake. You may have seen these in clips posted around the internet, but it’s not so obvious how to acquire these incredibly powerful Resident Evil 2 weapons.
If you played the original Resident Evil 2 way back in 1998 then you may know about the ‘Special Key’ which can be picked up by avoiding all items during your police station arrival and killing a special zombified version of Brad Vickers. You could find the Special Key on his corpse, which afforded you access to a locker in the Dark Room with new outfits and themed weapons.

This gave Leon access to a biker outfit and an army outfit, and when equipped they would allow him to hold his handgun sideways. Claire receives a set of cowboy boots and a bandana, as well as the Colt S.A.A, a classic six shooter. In the remake, you can find two weapons that act as an homage to the Special Key locker from the original, the M19 and the Quickdraw Army. Better yet, they’re much easier to get than access to that secret locker was.
To find these secret Resident Evil 2 weapons, first beat the A scenario of each character by simply playing through their storyline one time each. This will unlock the 2nd Run mode for each character. In this mode, you start outside of the police station when the opposite protagonist is already halfway way through their own story.
After picking up the bolt cutters in the courtyard you need to head back to the Guardroom at the bottom of the stairs and open the door. This is unmissable as you need the key from the Guardroom to access the police department.
In Leon’s case, you will find the M19 on the table to your left as you enter. Sure enough, when you handle the weapon, Leon aims to the side like his special outfit counterpart from the original. Funnily enough, the M19 is also found in Resident Evil 7, a weapon available for use by the protagonist, Ethan.
Claire, on the other hand, will find the Quickdraw Army in the exact same spot, a western-style six shooter that can be fired rapidly, again an homage to the Colt from the 1998 original. This gun is perfect for filling a zombie full of holes. The addition of these two weapons is a nice touch from Capcom, especially for the die-hard fans, but if you’re a newcomer, it’s still a worthwhile find for the firepower alone.

So that’s how you unlock the Resident Evil 2 Quickdraw Army and M19. There’s more zombie guide goodness where that came from, too: here’s how to solve all the Resident Evil 2 safe combinations and locker codes. And, if you’re looking for more rare gear, here’s how to unlock the grenade launcher and shotgun. With the arsenal you’re amassing, we’re actually starting to feel sorry for your decaying targets.
